About Chen’s Music Studio

Chen’s Music Studio is a dedicated space for music education and collaboration, offering a diverse range of courses designed for music enthusiasts of all ages. Chen provides one-on-one lessons in piano and violin, foundational music training, and preparation for ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) examinations. Through these personalized lessons, Chen strives to bring out inner artists in each student and unlock their full potential.

Chen is passionate about collaborating with fellow music enthusiasts and talented musicians to organize performances and events. Her mission is to share the joy and richness of music, fostering a deeper appreciation for its beauty and emotional depth among all audiences.

The journey of learning music is filled with a range of emotions, from moments of joy to times of challenge. No matter when you start, I hope that music becomes a lifelong companion, adding meaning and harmony to your life.

Teacher Yen-Ting is an outstanding teacher who is able to strike a balance between demonstrating care and patience while constantly striving to stretch the child to their fullest potential. My child has benefitted greatly from her tutelage.

She skillfully uses her listening abilities to identify the challenges children face while playing the piano, as well as any incorrect tones or phrasing. She provides immediate guidance in a simple and easy-to-understand manner, helping children learn effectively. I feel fulfilled and happy after every lesson.

I am happy to be able to learn the violin with Teacher Yen-Ting. It is not easy to learn an instrument, but Yen-Ting explains everything very well and is always patient and encouraging. Teacher Yen-Ting is a patient and caring teacher who could guide my daughter, who started violin at 4, very well. She is able to differentiate learning and varies her teaching according to student profile. Ralene has grown so much in the 1.5 years with teacher. Ms. Chen is a professional and dedicated teacher who ensures a solid foundation at every step, from beginner to advanced levels. Even during school breaks, she encourages children to continue their learning. When we were abroad, she went the extra mile by waking up early to teach our child, ensuring their lessons were uninterrupted. Through the process of learning piano, our child has also developed a sense of responsibility and perseverance.
